Segou History and Arts Day Tour from Bamako

Located about 235 kilometers from the Bamako is Segou, one of Mali's largest towns and the former colonial administrative center of the country. The urban commune is located northeast of Bamako and on the right bank of the Niger River.

What to Expect

Upon arrival, explore the village of Ségou-Koro, the former seat of the Bambara Empire where the body of the late King Biton Coulibaly lies. During the tour, you will also visit three artisans' impressive studios, showcasing the talents and skills of local artists in the town.

Tour ends with a transfer back to your hotel in Bamako.
