Mali One Week Tour Programme

Day 1: Arrival in Bamako

Arrive at the capital town of Bamako, in which your cultural journey begins. Visit the National Museum of Mali, browse the bustling Artisan Market, and stroll alongside the Niger River. Overnight in Bamako.

Day 2: Fly to Timbuktu

Take a morning flight to the fabled town of Timbuktu. Upon arrival, discover the historical manuscript library, visit the Sahara markets, and walk through the ancient quarters. Overnight in Timbuktu.

Day 3: Timbuktu Exploration

Dive deeper into Timbuktu`s scholarly legacy with guided visits to Djinguereber Mosque, Sankoré University, and Sidi Yahya Mosque. Optional camel trip throughout the dunes or a sundown view over the Sahara may be arranged. Overnight in Timbuktu.

Day 4: Return to Bamako

Fly lower back to Bamako withinside the morning. Spend your afternoon touring the Bamako Grand Mosque, the Modibo Keita Monument, or take time to unwind at your resort. Overnight in Bamako.

Day 5: Full-Day Djenné Excursion (With Military Escort)

Set out early with a army escort for a full-day tour to Djenné, domestic to the world`s biggest mud-brick building—the Grand Mosque. Wander through historical alleyways and the nearby marketplace. Return to Bamako in the evening. Overnight in Bamako.

Day 6: Siby Excursion or Free Day

Today we'll continue our journey to Siby, referred to as the cradle of the Mandingo Empire. Visit the Arch of Kamandjan, hike scenic cliffs and trails, and optionally revel in a conventional Mandingo masks dance. In the evening, savour a farewell dinner with stay nearby music. Overnight in Bamako.
